The resort

Due to their fabulous location the apartments are an ideal base from which to enjoy everything Altinkum and the surrounding area has to offer.

Four beautiful beaches are in easy walking distance of the apartments, the closest being just a five minute stroll away from Dolphin 1, or a short bus ride from Dolphin 2. Altinkum is Turkish for 'golden sand' and its easy to see how the resort got its name as you relax on sunloungers or enjoy the many water-based activities on offer. The clear blue Aegean Sea is shallow for many metres making it suitable for swimming and playing in and the golden sandy beaches are good for relaxing while the children build sandcastles. The restaurants on the beach will bring your food and drinks to you as you soak up the sun.

There are many cafes & restaurants in the resort with choices to suit all tastes, it has been said you can eat your way around the world in Altinkum. Many restaurants will collect you from the apartments and take you back after your meal - with no charge!

There is entertainment, reasonably priced drinks and food available late into the evening along the promenade and throughout the resort.

Scooter and car hire is easily available in the resort but the cheap and frequent public transport makes getting around easy.

Turkey is famous for its bargain prices and Altinkum is no exception. It offers both traditional shopping and haggling at local markets and modern outlet shopping a bus ride away.

A new marina and golf course are being built in the 3rd beach area. From the marina you will be able to hop across to the Greek island of Kos for a day trip or longer.

Surrounding area

You can enjoy a day at the Aqua Park or take a lazy boat trip around the stunning local bays. If you would like to venture further a field take the ferryboat to Bodrum which runs twice a week from the local harbour. Trips can be booked with ease through the many tour providers based in the resort.

Not too far away are many sites of historical and cultural interest including the Temple to Apollo, Ephesus and Miletus. Bafa Lake, an area of outstanding natural beauty, and Pamukkale where you can bathe in hot springs, make fascinating days out.

Through the winter months the apartments are frequently used by people taking advantage of the reasonably priced, quality dentistry readily available in Altinkum.

There really is something for everyone!
